Mission

The LSC-CyFair Medical Radiologic Technology Program is committed to excellence in radiography education, continuous improvement, student success, and employer satisfaction within the Radiology community, while preparing students for an entry-level position in the rapidly changing diverse workforce.

Program Goals

Graduate entry-level Medical Radiologic Technologists, who are effectively prepared to pass the ARRT national certification /credentialing examination at first attempt.
Develop clinical competency in program students.
Develop effective communication skills in program students.
Develop critical thinking and problem solving skills in program students.
Establish the desire for professional development and life-long learning in program students.
