“Party on the Plaza” Event at LSC-Montgomery to Celebrate Upcoming Spring 2010 Semester

To kickoff registration for the upcoming spring 2010 semester, Lone Star College-Montgomery hosts “Party on the Plaza,” a free event for all students that includes delicious food, exciting games, and great prizes. The fun will take place on both Tuesday, November 17, and Wednesday, November 18, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., in the fountain area plaza in front of Buildings C, D, and E.

The event will include college-themed, carnival-type games such as “Wheel of Wow,” “Don’t Lose Your Seat,” Class Bingo, and an old-fashioned raffle drawing for great prizes. Free hot dogs, popcorn, and drinks will be provided for all attendees.

All students–or anyone interested in becoming a student–are encouraged to stop by. Advisors and department representatives will be on hand to answer questions and help students with the registration process.

Registration for spring 2010 classes began Monday, November 9. For the best choice of courses, class times and particular days, early registration is strongly encouraged. The first day of classes for the spring semester is Tuesday, January 19, 2010.
