Published on: March 03, 2010Effective Monday, March 8, Jackie Cooper will begin serving as our interim manager of human resources. Jackie has a long history with LSC-Montgomery, working here full-time since August 2000, primarily in our Wellness Center as an instructional specialist IV. In 2005, Jackie served as interim manager of student activities.
She earned a bachelor of science in psychology from Sam Houston State University, and a master of science in training and development from The University of Houston.
Jackie is a past Staff Excellence Award winner (2007), and has served in numerous leadership roles on campus, including president of the Professional Support Staff Association, and chairperson of the annual United Way campaign for several years. She has done an outstanding job with every area of responsibility she’s undertaken.
We know that Jackie will do an equally outstanding job in the critically important area of HR. Please extend your best wishes to her as she takes on this new role for LSC-Montgomery.
