Start your Summer with a CPR class at Lone Star College-North Harris
With temperatures rising and the official start of summer only a few weeks away, swimming season will soon be in full-swing. While sunscreen, sunglasses and towels are on most people’s checklist, signing up for CPR training at Lone Star College-North Harris could be the most important way to prepare for a day at the beach or pool.

Lone Star College continuing education is offering CPR Basic Life Support and CPR for the Health Care Provider this summer at LSC-North Harris. Each course is taught by an American Heart Association certified instructor and is designed for both first-time students and those looking to refresh their skills.

Registration for either course costs $51 and students are asked to bring $16 for their materials and certification card.
CPR Basic Life Support classes will be held at LSC-North Harris on June 5 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and again on July 10 from 9 a.m. to 4.p.m.   Three offerings of the CPR for the Health Care Provider will be available this summer on June 26, July 24 and August 7. These will also take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at LSC-North Harris.  Participants in the classes will learn the most up-to-date lifesaving skills for choking, near-drowning and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children and infants.
