Published on: August 02, 2010After a record breaking summer, LSC-North Harris is preparing for its largest fall class ever. With the first day of class less than a week away, registration is up 40 percent compared to the same time last year, and there are currently more than 14,000 students registered for the upcoming semester, which begins August 30.
Although registration will continue through the first day of class, students looking for the best selection of classes and times are encouraged to register now for the fast-approaching fall session. The increased number of students results in many high-demand classes and times filling very quickly. The best way for students to get their desired schedule is to register early and be sure to meet any payment deadlines.
To accommodate the incredible growth, and busy schedules of its students, classes are offered days, evenings, or weekends at LSC-North Harris, LSC-Carver Center in Acres Homes and LSC-Greenspoint Center in Greenspoint, as well as in online and hybrid formats. In addition, LSC-North Harris has more than 320,000 square feet of construction and renovation projects underway, or planned, at both its main campus and centers, most of which will be completed in 2011.
Current and recently enrolled students can register by telephone at 281.591.6625 or online at LoneStar.edu/registration. New students can apply for admission online, or at the LSC-North Harris campus or centers.
