Lone Star College-CyFair’s popular Discovery College summer camp for ages 6 to 14 is right around the corner.

Two early-bird registration dates are set April 16 and April 30 from 8 a.m. to noon. Regular registration begins May 16.

The theme for the week-long sessions that begin June 6 is “Learning for Fun.” The summer camp sessions are fun and educational, providing children an opportunity to develop skills and learn new ones in a friendly environment.

“What differentiates Discovery College from other camps is that we strive to promote academic, social and emotional learning in all of our sessions. This holistic approach is what makes learning fun,” said Kenya White, director of Continuing Education.
 
Camps are held at the Barker Cypress campus and the Fairbanks Center campus. The cost of the week-long sessions is $99 per class.
