For students who wish to pick up three hours of college credit in just three weeks, registration for the May Mini-Mester is now underway at Lone Star College-Tomball (LSC-Tomball) and Lone Star College-University Park (LSC-University Park).
The May Mini-Mester is an excellent way for students to earn more college credit and accelerate their graduation and/or transfer date. May Mini-Mester courses will begin May 16 and run for three weeks.
LSC-Tomball and LSC-University Park will offer classes in the following subjects: Art Appreciation, Biology, Economics, English, Government, History, Humanities, Mathematics, Psychology, Sociology and Speech.
On-site registration is being held both at LSC-Tomball and LSC-University Park. Registration is Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Students may also register online by going to LoneStar.edu and clicking on myLoneStar.
New students may register for a Mini-Mester course after they apply for admission at LoneStar.edu/Admissions or in person at any Lone Star College System campus.
