The Lone Star College-Tomball Theater Department will present the classic musical "Fiddler on the Roof” July 12-14 at 7:30 p.m. and July 15 at 2 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center.
In the little village of Anatevka, Tevye, a poor dairyman, tries to instill in his five daughters the traditions of his tight-knit Jewish community in the face of changing social mores and the growing anti-Semitism of Czarist Russia. With a book by Joseph Stein, music by Jerry Bock, and lyrics by Sheldon Harnick, this Broadway smash has touched audiences the world over with its laughter, honesty, and stress on the importance of tradition.
Tickets for “Fiddler on the Roof” are $15 for the general public, $12 for LSC-Tomball employees and senior citizens, and $5 for students with a current ID. To purchase tickets, call 281-357-3654 or e-mail Sherri.R.White@LoneStar.edu.
LSC-Tomball is located at 30555 Tomball Parkway, at the intersection of State Highway 249 and Zion Road.
