Lone Star College announces July 4 schedule

Lone Star College facilities will be closed for the Independence Day holiday beginning July 2 through July 5. Regular office operations resume Monday, July 6.

Independence Day commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence which took place July 4, 1776, declaring independence from Great Britain. Independence Dayhas been celebrated as the birth of American independence from 1776 until the present day with typical festivities ranging from fireworks, parades and concerts.

LSC offers a wide variety of history courses with academic credits that can be used toward degrees including the Associate of Arts, Associate of Science or Associate of Applied Science.
