Forensics team takes second and third

The Lone Star College–CyFair Forensics Team adds second- and third-place honors to their accomplishments this fall.

Last month, the Lone Star College–CyFair Forensics team competed in the Texas Community College Speech and Theatre Association (TCCSTA) Forensics Tournament in Kingwood.

Forensics team member Cassandra Champagne won a third-place honor in persuasive speaking and a second-place in Improv Theatre on a hybrid team with teammate and first-time competitor Josiah Reese as well as Mikayla Riddles from Lone Star College-Kingwood.

“I am proud of how our team did this weekend. We have much to build on for the spring semester,” said Lone Star College–CyFair team coach, Matthew Taylor.
