Lone Star College-CyFair Lyric opera will hold open auditions for "The Marriage of  Figaro" (Le Nozze Di Figaro) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 13.  

The director Alex Qian will cast 11 roles including four Soprano, one Mezzo, two Tenor, one Baritone and three Bass singers. Actual performance dates are Nov. 5 through Nov. 8. 

Since 2003, LSC-CyFair’s Lyric Opera has held auditions for its programs. Those who are successfully cast are then invited to participate in the Opera/Musical production and a summer program of performance and study.  

The auditions are open to the community and will be held in the Main Stage Theatre, located in the Center for the Arts building on the Barker Cypress campus at 9191 Barker Cypress.
