We're glad you chose Lone Star College-Creekside Center for your courses.

The LSC-Creekside Center Student Services team is available and ready to help you. We offer open walk-in hours as well as appointment options to fit your schedule. For holidays and other observed scheduled days, please visit Lone Star College’s Academic Schedule to review. New Students

Lone Star College is an open-enrollment institution and applying is always free. Take the first step and complete the online application through Apply Texas and choose Lone Star College. After submitting your admission application, complete other admission requirements listed at Lone Star College Admissions.

Suspension - If you know you are on academic suspension, please go to: LSC-Montgomery Suspension Appeals 

Probation - If you are on academic probation (your GPA fell below 2.0 for two semesters), you will need to complete an online probation workshop. To enroll in the workshop, complete the following form: Academic Probation Appeal Request

Completing the workshop successfully will allow you to register for the next semester but will not remove you from probation. Passing classes and raising your GPA will remove you from academic probation. The workshop is intended to help you consider and plan how to be more successful in college. All probation workshops are currently online via D2L.

Finding Your Textbooks

You can find the necessary textbooks for your classes by using the class search tool on the website or by logging in to myLoneStar > Student Tile > Course Materials (Virtual Bookstore). Be sure to be registered.

CAREER STAR

Career opportunities, paid internships, and more can be through LSC's Career Star: https://lonestar.emsicc.com/ . This can also be reached through your MyLoneStar.edu Student Account > Career Star (tile).

  • Lone Star College students make a free account and use your school email (my.lonestar.edu)  
  • Upload or create a Résumé
  • On the site, click Work Opportunities, then Job Types, then Full-Time  OR  Internship.

Continuing Education consists of fast-track certificates or courses to quickly train students for a high-demand job. Programs focus on the key technical and behavioral skills needed in the targeted occupation. Each certificate program includes either industry-recognized certification, State or National occupational accreditation.

The Office of International Programs at Lone Star College is prepared to provide students with innovative education and customized support. All campuses offer 100 plus full degrees and a complete English as a Second Language/English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESL/ESOL) program.
