Dr. Bennie Lambert joined the LSC-CyFair team in 2015 and has been in the Lone Star College family since 1991. As the Vice President for Student Success, Dr. Bennie Lambert and his team facilitates everything students need to enroll and successfully complete their entire comprehensive community college experience. He has also served as Adjunct Faculty, Director of Admissions, Registrar, and Dean of Enrollment Management. Before that he worked for McLennan Community College, Baylor University, as Academic Advisor to Athletes, Assistant Director of School Relations, and Administrative Intern to the Baylor President.
Graduating from the bottom of his high school class did not keep Dr. Lambert from earning his college education, thanks to his community college beginning. He earned his bachelorís and masterís degrees in Business and Educational Psychology from Baylor University, as well as his doctorate of philosophy from Texas A&M University in College Station Texas. However, Dr. Lambert is most proud of his Associate of Arts degree from McLennan Community College. The community organizations to which he contributes his time and his talents include: Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Junior Achievement, and Special Olympics. Dr. Lambert has also served on the board of directors of: the Arthritis Foundation, American Red Cross, YMCA, and Boys and Girls Clubs of America. Additionally, he is the chair of the Texas ACT Council.
