After applying, check to see which documents you need to submit. Depending on your situation, this may include high school/GED transcripts, college transcripts, residency documents or other required information. Documents must be received and processed before some enrollment requirements and holds can be cleared. 

If you have attended another college or university, make sure Lone Star College has your official transcript. Official transcripts must be received and evaluated before applicable transfer credit can be awarded.Contact your previous institution for steps on how to retrieve an official physical or electronic transcript to be evaluated.

Once an official transcript is received, it still needs to be evaluated for applicable transfer credit. The transcript being visible as received does not necessarily mean the evaluation is complete. Allow 2-4 weeks for transcript evaluation. If you recently submitted a transcript, Super Saturday staff can help you determine whether it has been received and what your next step should be.

Submit qualifying scores, complete TSI requirements, or provide other documentation if required.

Check whether you need to complete TSI/placement requirements before registering. You may be able to satisfy placement requirements through qualifying SAT/ACT scores, previous TSI results, college coursework or other approved placement options.

If testing is required, you may start this process before Super Saturday and/or take it the day of.

Complete your FAFSA/TASFA as early as possible and monitor your my.LoneStar.edu account for additional requirements. respond to any requests for additional information.

Financial aid can involve multiple steps after the initial application, including requests for additional information or documentation.

Do not assume that submitting the FAFSA/TASFA means your financial aid is finished. Check your account for outstanding requirements.

Log in to my.LoneStar.edu and look for any holds or tasks that could prevent registration.

A hold may require action from Admissions, Advising, Financial Aid, Testing or another department. If you see a hold, start working on it before Super Saturday. Some holds can be resolved quickly, while others require documents to be submitted or reviewed.

After submitting your documentation, allow approximately 24 hours for the hold to update before assuming there is a problem.

If the hold is still showing after that time, bring it up with Admissions/Records so staff can determine what is needed.

Especially if you are unsure what classes to take, changing programs, returning after time away, or have questions about your degree plan.

If you are unsure what to take, are changing your program, returning after time away, or have a course that doesn't appear to fit your degree plan, meet with Advising before changing your schedule.

A course that is outside your degree plan may have implications for your progress toward your credential and, in some situations, financial aid eligibility.
