LSC-Conroe Center Automotive Technology Department

automotive tech bannerAutomotive Service Technicians inspect, maintain, and repair automobiles and light trucks that run on gasoline, diesel, electricity, or other alternative fuels such as ethanol. Integrated electronic systems and complex computers regulate vehicles and their performance while on the road. Automotive Technicians must have an increasingly broad knowledge of the complex components of vehicles. They also must be able to work with electronic diagnostic equipment, digital manuals, and other reference materials.  Attend a free Automotive Information Session to learn more about the program and review our resources page to get you started. Learn more about the Automotive Service Technician Program (AAS) at LSC.

LSC-Conroe Center students are prepared and encouraged to take the appropriate ASE Certification exams once all academic requirements have been met. They also have choice in learning the Toyota TECS, Ford ACE, or Nissan Virtual Academy towards major industry opportunities.

If you have made a decision and are ready to take the next step, we recommend registering for a seat in a free information session designed to get you started.
