We're glad you chose Lone Star College-Conroe Center for your courses.

The LSC-Conroe Center Student Services team is available and ready to help you. We offer open walk-in hours as well as appointment options to fit your schedule. New Students

Lone Star College is an open-enrollment institution and applying is always free. Take the first step and complete the online application through Apply Texas and choose Lone Star College. After submitting your admission application, complete other admission requirements listed at Lone Star College Admissions.

Campus Hours

  • Offices closed for holidays on January 15, March 11-17, March 29-31, and May 25-27.
  • Conroe Center Student Services will be open Saturday, January 6, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM for Spring 2024 Payment Deadline.

Suspension - If you know you are on academic suspension, please go to: LSC-Montgomery Suspension Appeals 

Probation - If you are on academic probation (your GPA fell below 2.0 for two semesters), you will need to complete an online probation workshop. To enroll in the workshop, complete the following form: Academic Probation Appeal Request Form

Completing the workshop successfully will allow you to register for the next semester but will not remove you from probation. Passing classes and raising your GPA will remove you from academic probation. The workshop is intended to help you consider and plan how to be more successful in college. All probation workshops are currently online via D2L.

Any questions about this process, please email Dorothy.M.McNicol@lonestar.edu.  Include your Lone Star ID number and your myLoneStar email.  She will add you to the probation workshop roster. If you have never taken the online student orientation, you will need to do this before getting access to the probation workshop. 

The LSC-Conroe Center Advising Office is available to assist students with academic advising (course and major options), degree planning, registration, and advising resources.

Finding Your Textbooks

You can find the necessary textbooks for your classes by using the class search tool on the website or by logging in to myLoneStar. After entering your search criteria, click on a class link, and then click the “Textbook link” on the Class Detail page.You don't have to buy your books here, but when/if you do, this will be available to you beginning October 1.

Textbook requirements are also available through your faculty syllabi and can be found using the syllabi search tool. Financial Aid students can get more information about how to acquire books through our book advances page.

Computers and Laptops

  • Laptops: Students meeting the minimum number of enrolled credit hours may request the use of an HP Windows Laptop bundle or an Apple iPad bundle. See LSC TechConnect details here.
