Professional Development

 Philosophy

The Office of Strategy and Innovation (OSI) believes every staff member, faculty and adjunct is provided with opportunities to increase their knowledge, skills, and enhance talents that are valuable to Lone Star College and prepares for future opportunities.
We will provide meaningful, useful and practical PD that will maximize each person’s contribution to their department and acquire new skills that will lead to greater career effectiveness and satisfaction.

Professional Development will align with the Lone Star College system initiatives as well as those set by the campus president. The American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) developed the competencies used to identify professional development offerings.
