The Experience Extraordinary: Strengthening the Pack Scholarship aims to provide financial support to students who may be experiencing financial constraints. It is our top priority to keep students on their educational path and to help them reach their educational goals. This scholarship is designed to help students do just that. 

Eligibility Criteria

1. Applicants must be currently enrolled as a student at Lone Star College-Tomball.
2. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0
3. Applicants must be making satisfactory progress toward their degree or certificate program.

Application Requirements

1. Complete the Experience Extraordinary: Strengthening the Pack Scholarship Application Form. Apply Now
2. Compose a narrative explaining how this scholarship will help the candidate overcome financial burdens, so they may continue moving toward their education goals here at Lone Star College-Tomball.
3. Submit a 500-word response to the following prompt:
   • Describe a challenge you have faced during your educational journey and how you worked to overcome it.
   • How has this experience shaped your goals.
4. Provide a current unofficial transcript.
5. Provide one letter of support from faculty, staff, or supervisor who can speak to your academic potential and need for the scholarship.

Selection Criteria

1. Financial Need: Demonstrated financial need, through an explanatory narrative, will be a primary consideration.
2. Academic Progress: Academic performance and progress toward degree completion will be evaluated.
3. Essay: The clarity, sincerity, and relevance of the essay will be assessed.
4. Recommendation Letter: The strength and relevance of the letter of recommendation will be considered.
5. Application Completion: All required elements of the scholarship application are complete and submitted.

Scholarship Awards

1. Scholarships in amounts up to $500 will be awarded.
2. Students are eligible to apply once per academic year.
