Recognize Phishing: phishing emails can sound too good or too bad so look for grammar and spelling issues, verify the senders address, and if it is unexpected. 

Passwords: strong passwords have at least 8 character length with a capital letter, a number, and a special character. It is also best practices to reset your password every 90 days and have different passwords for every important account you have such as financial or business accounts.

Antivirus & malware protection: these services protect both your data and devices by detecting, removing, and blocking any viruses or malware that attempts to download to your devices.

Virtual Private Networks (VPNs): this service protects its users by encrypting their data and masking their IP address, leaving their browsing history and location untraceable. This greater anonymity allows for greater privacy, as well as greater freedom for those who wish to access blocked or region-bound content.
