Request Interpreting & Transcribing Services

Lone Star College is committed to ensuring that individuals who have a disability may fully participate in services, programs, and activities at Lone Star College. Qualified interpreters and captionists are coordinated upon request. Where possible, please provide advance notice of 3-working days when requesting services.

The LSC Virtual Disability Assistance Center (VDAC) is the Lone Star College cloud-based software hosting a secure location that will process and hold disability services requests and records for students with disabilities at all LSC campuses. Requests for interpreting and transcribing services are managed in VDAC.

 

With a Lone Star College User ID / Password

Lone Star College employees and Lone Star College students who have completed the process of requesting accommodations will request interpreting and transcribing services through VDAC.

  • Request an interpreter or transcriber/captionist via VDAC

Community Members and Guests

Individuals who do not have a Lone Star College employee or student ID may also need to request an interpreter or transcriber/captionist when planning to attend an LSC-sponsored event or activity. Community members and guest may request services via a Guest Link to VDAC.
