Printing and photocopying Basics
- All libraries and centers provide printers and photocopiers for public use.
- Printing or photocopying at most LSCS Libraries requires purchasing a print card, adding value to a student/staff ID, or using coins or paper money.
- Printers and photocopiers do not accept debit or credit cards, but automated teller machines (ATM) may be found on campus.
- Library customer service desks may change coins into bills for use in the print card machines.
Black and White Printing and Photocopying
- Black and white printing is the default setting when printing from a computer workstation.
- Black and white printers only accept copy cards or staff/student IDs with value added in most libraries.
- Photocopiers accept paper money or coins, staff/student ID with value added, and print cards purchased from a dispenser in the library.
- Black and white prints and photocopies usually cost 10 cents with a copy card.
- Black and white photocopies usually cost 10 cents with a copy card and 15 cents with paper money or coins.
Color Printing
- Some library locations offer color printing, generally for a higher price than black and white printing.
- Check with a specific library location for color printing costs.
- Select the color print option on your computer workstation to send a page to the color printer.
- Color printers only accept copy cards or staff/student IDs with value added in most libraries.
