• LSC-University Center awards numerous scholarships - November 18, 2009
  The Lone Star College-University Center held its annual scholarship awards ceremony on Oct. 29 and celebrated the accomplishments of a number of high-achieving students who received scholarships.

   

• LSCS Board of Trustees to meet at retreat Nov. 20, 21 - November 17, 2009
  The Board of Trustees of the Lone Star College System will hold a retreat at 6 p.m., on Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, in the Su Casa Room and on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009 at 8:30 a.m. in the Alamo-Texas Room at the Northwest Forest Conference Center, 12715 Telge Road, Cypress, TX 77429.

• Seats still available for SBDC 23rd Annual Small Business awards banquet - November 11, 2009
  There is still time to purchase tickets for the Lone Star College System Small Business Development Center's 23rd Annual Small Business of the Year awards banquet set for Thursday, Nov. 19.

   

• LSCS gets grant for ‘career-related’ students - November 10, 2009
  Lone Star College System received a $128,423 grant from the Texas Comptroller's Office on Oct. 20 to fund scholarships for students enrolled in training for high-demand careers.

   

• LSCS employees pack IT conference as presenters - November 04, 2009
  Lone Star College System personnel made a major showing at the international Conference on Information Technology (CIT) held in October in Detroit to give cutting-edge presentations about information technology.
  
• LSCS student demographics remain consistent - November 04, 2009
  While reporting a 15 percent increase in student enrollment for the fall semester to more than 59,000, Lone Star College System demographic trends year over year have remained consistent in most categories.
