Dr. Javaher and Dr. Wang from Lone Star College were selected to participate in the NASA workshop RockOn in Virginia, summer 2024, as representatives from a Minority Serving Institution. 

LSC and the University of Houston-Victoria recently signed a memorandum of understanding, expanding options for LSC-Online students interested in taking courses through the four-year university.

LSC-Online was selected as a Bellwether Award finalist in the category of Planning, Governance, and Finance for the creation and recent successes of the LSC-Online campus launch.

Lone Star College-Online has grown nearly 30% in its second year. BestColleges recently ranked LSC-Online eighth out of 10 Best Online Community Colleges nationwide.

Lone Star College awarded 9,709 degrees and certificates during its eight commencement ceremonies held May 11-13.
