Project Development & Planning

The Project Development and Planning Team is responsible for the planning, implementation, and management of facility-related projects, including new buildings, remodeling, and renovations. Large-scale projects are guided by strategic long-term planning and require funding approval at the Board of Trustees level. Additionally, the team serves as the first point of contact for smaller construction and renovation projects, office move requests, and space planning needs.
What we do:
Designing, constructing, and developing new buildings, facilities, or campus expansions. Focus on new buildings, large expansions, and future campus growth. Larger projects requiring extensive planning, approvals, and funding, often involving architects, engineers, and developers.
Examples:
- Constructing a new academic building or student center.
- Expanding campus infrastructure (e.g., roads, utilities, parking structures).
- Expanding water, sewage, and electrical systems to support new campus buildings.
- Constructing new walkways, bike lanes, or bridges to improve mobility across campus.
- Large-scale master planning for future campus growth
