Our Mission Defined

The LSC-CyFair Men’s Soccer Team was formed as an outlet for students to participate in team sports, develop sportsmanship and camaraderie on and off the field, and play inter-league soccer games against other clubs and teams at other colleges.

Our goals every semester are:

• To have FUN!!
• To develop social skills
• To be physically active
• To develop and maintain health and wellness
• To support and promote the college
• To engage and demonstrate sportsmanship

Qualifications and Restrictions

In order to participate on the Soccer Team, all students must:

• Be currently enrolled at LSC-CyFair
• Have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
• Be enrolled in 6 credit hours at LSC-CyFair
• Be able to attend all practices. Students should arrange their class schedule around these times.

Restrictions include:

• Being on academic probation during any contest. Click here to view our probation and suspension guidelines.
• Currently playing on a varsity team in a related activity or have done so within the same academic year.
• Faculty, staff, or alumni.
• Having prior professional experience in a related activity.

Fall 2026 Tryout Information 

Fall 2026 tryouts are scheduled to be held on Tuesday, August 25 & Wednesday, August 26.

Location: Cullen Park (19008 Saums Rd., Houston, TX 77084)

Time: 4:00-6:00pm

**All students trying out will be required to fill out and sign required documents prior to trying out for any club sport team. If you are a minor, you will need your parent or guardian present to sign the forms, unless you fill them out in advance. CLICK HERE to find forms if you want to fill out in advance.**
