The LSC-UP Accounting Club promotes scholastic study and practice of accounting through speaker events, networking, internships and employment opportunities, community service and leadership skills development.
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)
The VITA program is an IRS initiative created to offer free income tax preparation and e-filing by IRS Certified Volunteers to people who need assistance in preparing their own taxes which includes:
- low-to-moderate income individuals
- persons with disabilities
- limited English-speaking taxpayers
LSC-UP 2024 VITA
The low-to-moderate income threshold for Tax Year 2023 is $64,000.
