Welcome to the Online Writing Lab!
PLEASE NOTE: In order to access the Online Writing Lab, you must first be enrolled.
To Enroll: Email your first name, last name, and student ID to LSC-TELC@lonestar.edu. You will receive a confirmation email, and then simply follow the directions below to submit your work for review.
You can have your school writing critiqued online, day or night, using our Online Writing Lab. We are committed to returning your work to you within 48 hours of submission. To submit your work, follow the steps below:
- Login to my.lonestar.edu.
- Click LSC Online (Online Classes)
- Click Go to D2L Classes
- At the top of the page, click Select a Course
- Search for a Course: Tomball Online Writing Lab
- The Dropbox for the Writing Lab can be found under the Content Tab.
Follow the instructions and submit your work. Tutors will comment on your work and return to you within 24 – 48 hours. (Returns may take longer on weekend days.)
If you have questions, please call the Extended Learning Center during normal business hours at 832.559.4240 or come and see us on the Second Floor of the Library.
You are always welcome to see a Writing Tutor face to face during our regular tutoring hours. For the Fall and Spring semesters our hours are Monday-Thursday, 9am – 6pm, Friday, 10am-2pm. We are on the 2nd floor of the library.
