Requesting Materials 

All requests are made through OCLC. Lone Star will lend all materials except the following: 

• Reference Materials 

• Reserve Materials 

• eBooks 

• Print and Bound Periodicals  

• Special Collections 

Shipping 

LSC utilizes USPS & Trans Amigos Express for shipment. Shipments are made to the borrowing library. Lone Star does not lend physical materials outside the continental United States.  

Loan Periods 

Loan periods are 4 weeks. Renewals are 4 weeks and are requested at illdistrict@lonestar.edu .   

Libraries that repeatedly keep materials past the loan period may be denied future ILL services.  

Fees 

Physical Loans 

Free within the continental United States.  

Copies 

Copies are sent via Article Exchange.  If print is needed, photocopies in excess of 50 pages are 10¢ per page.    

Replacements 

Lost items are replaced at the full cost of the item. Please inquire at illdistrict@lonestar.edu for questions about refunds.  

Calendar Notes
