New Pop Orchestra Debut Concert is April 10

Lone Star College-CyFair’s music director introduces the new Pop Orchestra in their debut “MusicMattersMore” concert April 10.

“Performing popular ditties, show tunes and inspirational master works, LSC-CyFair’s Pop Orchestra will showcase our talented students as they make audiences of all ages smile,” said Dr. John Wolfskill, music director. “You’re never sure what will happen in our shows, but it should be sweet time with lots of surprises.”

In addition, this entertaining evening will feature guest soloists Vaughan Pederson, on trumpet, and his wife Alisa Pederson, on violin.

The 7:30 p.m. concert will be held in the Main Stage Theatre, located in the Center for the Arts building on the Barker Cypress campus at 9191 Barker Cypress.

Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for seniors. Group discounts are available. LSC students and employees receive complimentary admission with a valid ID.
