Try Holiday Cuisine and Caroling at Free Workshops

LIFE WorkshopEnjoy a little holiday Indian-style cuisine and caroling at Lone Star College-CyFair’s free December workshops.

The Learning, Inspiration, Friendship and Enrichment (L.I.F.E.) programs in December are free and held Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the library (LRNC room 131 unless otherwise noted) at 9191 Barker Cypress. There will be no workshops Dec. 20, Dec. 27 and Jan. 3 due to the winter break.

  • December 6 — Christmas Cuisine in India
    Usha Dontharaju cooks us up some samples of holiday food Indian style from soup to nut.s
  • December 13 — Christmas Caroling with Jen
    “Here we come a-wassailing among the leaves so green.” Bring your singing voice and learn caroling trivia with musician and children’s librarian, Jen Crouse.

L.I.F.E. resumes Jan. 10, 2018 with an Elvis birthday celebration with rock and roll historian Steve Davis from Lone Star College-Kingwood.
