About the Library

The LSC-University Park library is unique among the main Lone Star campus libraries as a fully digital library. We are part of the Student Learning Resource Center, which also includes the academic coaching areas and Assistive Technology Lab.

Vision: The Student Learning Resource Center is a place of engagement where students, faculty, staff and community members have opportunities to pursue and create knowledge, engage in lifelong learning and to nurture and explore the cultural and intellectual diversity of the greater community.

Mission: The mission of the Student Learning Resource Center is to provide access to resources that support a successful educational experience, promote information literacy, encourage critical thought, nurture the intellectual and cultural life of the community, and provide innovative and high quality services and programs to meet the needs of the college and our diverse community of users.
