Earn College Credit Between Semesters
Mini-mesters are 'miniature semesters' (3 or 4 weeks long) that take place after the fall and spring semesters, in December and May. Classes are offered online and in person, with a variety of subjects and start dates.

To search for Mini-mester classes, click the blue button below. Select term (Winter Mini-Mester = Spring Term; Summer Mini-Mester). Type a course subject into the search field to see all courses offered in that subject. Then scroll down on the left hand navigation to "Academic Session" to choose a 3- or 4-Week Mini Session which will then only display the Mini-Mester courses in that subject.

Register for Mini-mester Courses
Current LSC Students can register for mini-mester courses through myLoneStar.
Students from other colleges and universities must apply to Lone Star College before class registration. Follow the Transfer to LSC admission process, then register for a mini-mester course.
Please note: If registration has closed, but the desired class is both open and hasn't started, contact an advisor for assistance. And because of the robust mini-mester schedule, students are only advised to enroll in one mini-mester class at a time. To enroll in multiple classes, please contact your program dean.
