TC Villalobos

My name is TC Villalobos and I am an Evening & Weekend College Coordinator. I have lived in Houston, Texas since I was 2 years old. Spanish is my native language, I started to learn English in pre-k. I love the culture here and enjoy exploring our city. I never graduated from high school and received my GED to further my education. I walked across a graduation stage for the first time when I received my AAS in Business from Lone Star College-CyFair. I am a first-generation college student, and I am one of five cousins that have a college degree. I love playing Fortnite and Minecraft to help my ADHD and reduce stress. I love playing card games like monopoly deal, exploding kittens and uno. My Mexican heritage and culture are a huge part of my childhood. I prefer street tacos from taco trucks over restaurants and having serrano peppers is a must with them. I recently started investing in stocks and crypto to plan for my future and seeing a small reward. I like to grill steak and chicken at least twice a month. Growing in my Christian faith has been the most rewarding and challenging thing in my life. I am a people person and love to engage with new people every semester. I want to help minorities to succeed and accomplish great things. In general, I love helping everyone to be the best they can. I prefer road trips over flying, so I can experience the scenery, cultures and what each state has to offer.

Amy Duval

Homeschooler by day, Evening and Weekend Coordinator by night. While familiar with working in a learning atmosphere and helping students with Financial Aid at Lamar University, I am quite new to the Lone Star College environment. For the past ten years I've kept my children occupied with lesson plans and fieldtrips, while at the same time volunteering in numerous leadership roles within the scouting units they've participated in. Outside of responsibilities, you can most likely find me coding a website or playing an old-school text-based game with my husband. I also enjoy a plethora of hobbies which include baking, camping, crochet, guitar, hiking, learning about languages, painting, and photography.
