Community Engagement Events

As part of Lone Star College-Montgomery’s 30th anniversary celebration, Maverick Acts of Service made a tremendous impact throughout our community. We exceeded our goal of completing 30 service activities and look forward to continuing this meaningful initiative during the next academic year.

Student Service Recognition: We proudly recognized 49 students who completed 15 or more service hours through the 30-for-30 initiative. The students were honored at Commencement with service cords recognizing their dedication to serving others. We plan to continue this tradition at future commencement ceremonies.

Employee Service: Our Maverick employees made a meaningful impact in the community through Maverick Acts of Service! This year, 45 employees volunteered their time and talents, collectively contributing more than 420 hours of service to local organizations and community initiatives.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped bring the spirit of service to life! Your generosity and commitment demonstrate the difference we can make when we come together as Mavericks to support the communities we call home.
