The cost is $58 and will be paid directly to Elsevier/HESI. Follow these steps to get started:
- To set up an appointment, please email NHC.Assessment@LoneStar.edu
- Wait for an email from the Testing Center with the payment instructions. Allow 2-3 business days for processing.
- Make your payment on the HESI ecommerce site (link will be provided via email).
You must be a Lone Star College student to test through our assessment center.
HESI RN - Admissions Exam for Nursing
The HESI RN Admissions Exam is required to apply to the Nursing programs with Lone Star College. Testing is available in person only at the LSC-North Harris - Assessment Center. Appointments are required.

HESI HP - Admissions Exam for Medical Assisting
The HESI HP Admissions Exam is required to apply to the Medical Assisting program with Lone Star College. Testing is available in person only on the North Harris campus and will begin February 7, 2023. The deadline to test is August 7, 2023. Appointments are required.
