All CFISD Dual Credit students should complete the steps below prior to the first day of the college course. All college courses in the Dual Credit program will have a D2L course companion site to host the syllabus and college gradebook.

Step 1: Log in to myLoneStar (LSC student portal)

• Access Your Online Courses

Step 2: Pay for dual credit courses

• How to Make a Credit/Debit Card Payment Online with NelNet
• Payment Information

Step 3: Complete D2L Student Training (Previously Student Orientation for Online Courses)

• D2L Student Training (D2L course companion site)
• This step must be completed in order to access the class in D2L.
• Please note: Students who have completed the orientation will not have to take it again next semester unless there is a major change in the course delivery system. 

Step 4: Find the Syllabus for your course

• Instructions: How to find the syllabus for your course
• Learn how to contact the faculty member teaching the course for questions
  • First, see your faculty’s preferred contact information in the syllabus
  • Learn the difference between D2L email and myLoneStar email
