What is the Internship Eligibility Pathway?

The Career Leadership / Internship Eligibility Pathway is a short preparation process students complete before applying to internships. It includes steps like submitting a resume and meeting with our staff. Our team will help you prepare your resume and interview so you feel confident applying to internships.

How long does the process usually take?

The Internship Eligibility Pathway typically takes about a week or longer to complete. We recommend starting early and carefully reviewing all instructions in the pathway.

Why can't I see internship postings on the student portal?

Students must complete the Internship Eligibility Pathway before they will be able to view or apply to internships. If you are having trouble with your account, contact us at CF-Internships@LoneStar.edu.

Why am I receiving emails about internships?

You may receive emails from us when you meet the basic qualifications for a new internship opportunity based on your program of study, enrollment, and GPA. This does not guarantee that you will meet all the requirements or mean you will automatically be accepted for the position. To apply for this internship, you must create an account on our student portal and complete the Internship Eligibility / Career Leadership Pathway.

How do I know that an email about an internship is genuine?

Genuine internship recruitment emails from our department will come from noreply@info.lonestar.edu, lonestar@csm.symplicity.com, or CF-Internships@LoneStar.edu.
