Drawing from personal experience, the speaker reflects on resilience, global citizenship, and the role of learning in healing and rebuilding communities. Students, faculty, and community members are invited to explore how education can serve as a bridge to hope, understanding, and purpose across cultures.

This celebration of global flavors invites everyone to indulge their sweet tooth while learning about diverse cultures and culinary heritage.

Dr. Margaret Jelinek Lewis will describe how her grandparents escaped Nazi Germany with a child with autism.
