Engineering Week
Celebrate National Engineering Week with 3 days of fun filled events! Students will learn 3D printing basics, compete in a airplane contest for prizes, and learn programming basics with Makey Makey. Please see the table below for dates, times, and locations.

Glow with the Flow
This event was designed for students as a come-and-go activity. Students created a Valentine’s card using simple electronics and LED lights. The Science First Center had this event on Monday, February 9, and Thursday, February 12 for Valentines day.

Creative Dissectible Note Taking
This workshop introduced Creative Dissectible note-taking, an active learning strategy designed to support students in class organization and learning class content in STEM fields. Held on Wednesday, February 4 and Friday, February 6, 2026

STEMos Juntos - STEMing Together
In honor of Hispanic Heritage in STEM, the Science First Success Center and the LSC-Tomball Latin American Student Organization (L.A.S.O.) showcased the inspiring stories of Hispanic innovators with a dynamic presentation and hands-on activities.
Soil Your Underwear Project
Wolf Pack Exploration Camp
The Science First Success Center partnered with the Office of Culture and Engagement and Lone Star College faculty to host Wolf Pack Summer Exploration Camp, an interactive program for middle school students. For two days, students were immersed in four distinct career fields: Creative Writing with Artificial Intelligence, Engineering and Programming, Chemistry, and Geology. Through hands-on experiential learning, the camp aimed to inspire and guide students toward future careers.
