EPP Performance Over the Last 5 Years
In April 2024, Lone Star College's Educator Preparation Program entered into an Agreed Order with the State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC) following a TEA review. During this period, the program paused admissions in 2024 to implement required corrective actions and strengthen overall program quality.
Key actions completed include:
- Successful transition of the ATCP from LSC-Tomball to LSC-University Park
- Strategic streamlining of certification offerings from 37 to 6 tracks
- Comprehensive curriculum revisions aligned with current Texas Education Agency (TEA) standards and educator preparation best practices
The program reopened admissions in Fall 2025 and continues to monitor performance to ensure ongoing compliance and continuous improvement.
The performance data displayed below is sourced directly from the Texas Education Agency's Educator Preparation Data Dashboards and ASEP Accountability Reports.
