Visual Communication trains today’s digital designers in the communication media of the future. We provide students with skills needed for careers in commercial art and design, desktop publishing, multimedia development, web design, 3-D animation, video and post production. The demand for these skills comes from a variety of industries including advertising, consumer products, education, entertainment, government, legal, manufacturing, medical, petroleum, publishing, transportation, and video production. Both the graphic design and multimedia tracks have been recognized by the Texas Skills Standard Board as meeting industry-defined and industry-recognized skill standards.
