A credit certificate focuses on technical skills courses that can be completed over three semesters. Students can earn one or multiple credit certificates in:

• Motion Graphics
• Graphic Design
• Web Design
• 3D Animation
• Video Production
• Multimedia Design

Each of these credit certificates will apply to the course requirements in an AAS Visual Communication degree specialty track. Some courses within these certificates may transfer to a university.

Note: There is a difference between credit certificates and Continuing Education certificates. Courses under Continuing Education certificates may not apply to the AAS Visual Communication degree.

This certificate is for AAS graduates in Visual Communication who wish to develop their skills in digital photography to broaden their abilities. The enhanced skills certificate covers fundamentals and advanced photographic procedures and the application of appropriate techniques using software and equipment in various photographic contexts.

Others without the AAS Visual Communication degree wishing to take the photography courses will need to make sure they have the course prerequisites.
