Visual Communication

Students earn an AAS degree in Visual Communication by specializing in one of five tracks including Graphic Design, Web Design, 3D Animation, Video Production and Multimedia Design.  The AAS degree is transferrable to certain area universities and will apply towards a bachelor's degree.

A credit certificate is a shorter study because most of the courses are only the required technical courses in the AAS -Visual Communication degree. Students can earn one or multiple credit certificates by specializing in one or multiple of the six tracks including Motion Graphics, Graphic Design, Web Design, 3D Animation, Video Production and Multimedia Design. Each of these credit certificates leads to the AAS degree in Visual Communication so students may apply course credits toward the AAS degree in Visual Communication. (Be aware that there is a difference between credit certificates and Continuing Education certificates. Courses under Continuing Education certificates may not apply to the AAS degree in Visual Communication.)
