Lone Star College Chapter of Music Teachers National Association (LS-MTNA)

LS-MTNA is Lone Star College’s only nationally-affiliated music organization. It provides social and mentoring activities for its members and promotes musical activities on the LSC/Montgomery Campus and other places.

Its members enjoy many projects during the year, including travel to the Texas Music Teachers Association State Convention in June.  Many LS-MTNA members have benefitted from mentored teaching employment opportunities or have made valuable contacts for performance opportunities.

Membership in LS-MTNA has proven to be both enjoyable and a positive resume asset for students beginning teaching jobs in the community or transferring to four-year university music programs.

LS-MTNA meets Fridays at 1:00 in H-117 (or immediately following Student Recitals).
