Aaron Martinez

Aaron P. Martinez is currently on the faculty of Lone Star College in Kingwood and Montgomery, where he serves as Adjunct Professor of Music.  He holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education, as well as a Master of Music in Saxophone Performance from Sam Houston State University where he studied under Dr. Scott D. Plugge.
As a teacher and clinician he is in high demand, and he maintains a studio of over 60 students ranging from elementary school to college in the cities of Conroe, The Woodlands, Spring, Atascocita and Kingwood.  As a performer, he was invited to perform and present a clinic in Saxophone chamber music at the National Conservatory of Music in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He has also performed at Texas Music Educators Association Convention, the Texas Conference of the National Association of Composers, the North American Saxophone Alliance regional conference, and is on call with the Symphony Orchestra of the Shepard School of Music at Rice University.  Most recently he performed with the Kingwood Chorale as a guest soloist, accompanying them on Soprano Saxophone on their concert tour of Great Britain.
