Strategy 1 - Promotion

To promote LSC-Tomball as an educational destination for students by highlighting the uniqueness of the campus and course offerings. This initiative includes the use of videos that highlight LSC-Tomball students as well as additional newspaper advertisements.

Strategy 2 - Improved Communication/Collaboration During Course Scheduling

This initiative involves the creation of a process to increase communication and collaboration amongst department chairs, deans (and advisors) during the creation of class schedules. This offerings group recommends that scheduling software be identified and/or a spreadsheet be developed that will identify conflicts and possible gaps within the course schedules. In addition, a process/document is needed to identify classrooms available for late start classes after traditional length classes have been cancelled.

Strategy 3 - Creation of Creative and Unique Scheduling

Creation of creative and unique scheduling to minimize conflicts and identify “core” paths to assist students in completing degree plans more efficiently. Specific steps for this initiative.
