LSC-Tomball Reads

The Center for International Education (CIE) presents "Tomball Reads" which aims to develop programs for the entire campus community around a common book.

This year's selection is The Best We Could Do by Thi Bui, an illustrated memoir that tells the story of the authorís familyís experience before, during, and after the Vietnam War.

Students in several classes will be reading and discussing the book; faculty and staff will have a professional development workshop using themes in the book; there will be extracurricular performances and discussions based on the book's themes.
