Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your event's start time. There is NO late seating for Black Box Theatre events. All events are subject to change or cancellation.

Directions to LSC-UP

Lone Star College-University Park is located at 249 and Louetta. If you are entering from the main entrance, please park in Garage 10 or 11 and take the elevators between Garage 10 and 11 to the second floor. Walk past the security desk to the end of the skybridge, and turn left. From there, follow the signs for the venue listed:

  • Visual & Performing Arts Center (VPA): Located across from Center for Science and Innovation (CSI).
    - VPA Box Office Suite (101): Walk in the VPA and to the left you will find the front window of the Box Office Suite.
    - VPA Main Stage (110): Walking into the VPA, you can either take the right or left route to find the Main Stage taking the big doors near the center walls.
    - VPA Black Box Theatre (138): The first two big doors located on the right wall will take you to the Black Box.
    - VPA Art Gallery: Entering the VPA, the Art Gallery is located directly to the right.
    - Interdisciplinary Teaching Hall (108): Down the hall on the left you can find the Interdisciplinary Teaching Hall in room 108.
    - VPA Rehearsal Hall (112): Down the hall on the left and past the double doors, the are doors on the left wall that will take you into the Rehearsal Hall.
    - VPA Arts Studio (121): Taking the right hallway past the double doors, all the way down the hall on the right you will find the doors to room 121.
  • Art Gallery:
    - VPA: Entering the VPA, the Art Gallery is located directly to the right.
    - B12.1: Enter building 12 and continue down the hallway till you reach the Division 1 suite. Down this hall is where the Art Gallery starts.
  • First Floor Atrium (B12.1): Continue down the hallway until you reach the elevators between buildings 12 and 13. Take them down one floor and they'll open onto the First Floor Atrium.
  • The Multipurpose Room (B13.210): Continue down the hallway toward buildings 12 and 13. Just past the elevators, you'll see the Multipurpose Room on your right behind glass doors.
  • East Dining and West Dining (W): Turn right down the first long hallway you see, and follow it all the way back. Go around the big circle and head down the left hallway for East Dining (it's just to the left of Abby's, the cafeteria) or to the right hallway for West Dining.
