Mission Statement

The Inkling is the creative arts magazine of LSC-Tomball and LSC-University Park; it is designed to encourage the creativity of students, teach the process of magazine production, and involve students in club activities.   Launched in 1991, the Inkling publishes an original issue each spring and celebrates each new issue of the magazine with a college-wide release party, book signing, and reading.  All LSC-Tomball and LSC-University Park students are invited to submit poetry, short fiction, creative essays, photographs, and artwork of all kinds for consideration for publication in the magazine.  Students are also invited to join the all-student staff which not only selects the material for publication and but also actually produces the magazine.
