Sandy Kreps is a native Texan who comes to Lone Star College after five years of professional experience as a cutter/draper in the costume shop at Houston Ballet. Mrs. Kreps has also worked backstage at the Alley Theatre and Stages Repertory Theatre in Houston. Her summer stock credits include lead cutter/draper at Trollwood Performing Arts School in Fargo, ND; stitcher/dresser at Lees-McRae Summer Theatre in Banner Elk, NC; assistant painter/dyer at the Colorado Shakespeare Festival in Boulder, CO; and stitcher/dresser at Idaho Repertory Theatre in Moscow, ID. Mrs. Kreps holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre and Television from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth and a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts from the University of Idaho in Moscow, ID, with an emphasis in costume design and technology. Currently she is an instructor of Introduction to Theatre at Lone Star College-Montgomery and is excited to be sharing her professional experience in a new way.
