On October 14, 2016, the Global Grit Initiative (GGI)  and Lone Star College-Tomball hosted the inaugural Grit Summit. Nearly 100 attendees learned about the grit framework that is being used to transform the culture at LSC-Tomball. Later in the day, attendees had an opportunity to learn how to begin infusing Grit on their own campuses. On October 13, 2017, GGI will host the 2nd annual Grit Summit, and the theme will be From Can't to Can!
